For senior leaders and public-facing executives, the photograph often arrives first — in a press release, annual report, board pack or conference programme.
Generic executive portraits make people look interchangeable: the same posture, the same expression, the same borrowed idea of confidence.
I pay attention to how authority actually sits in a person - how they speak, listen and hold themselves when they are engaged rather than performing for the lens. The aim is a portrait with weight that still feels specific to the person in it.
The session begins with where the photographs need to go.
A portrait for a financial title and one for a technology conference programme are not necessarily the same photograph. Before the session, I establish the intended uses and make decisions around setting, light, range and format accordingly.
Alongside formal headshots, a commission can include relaxed portraits, environmental images and candid moments — a versatile body of work ready for the requests that tend to arrive at short notice.

Studio hire, make-up artistry, travel outside Nairobi and extended retouching can be arranged and quoted separately.
Professional fees exclude applicable taxes, levies and statutory charges. A complete estimate is provided before confirmation.
Processing covers selection, exposure and colour correction, cropping and tonal refinement without altering the subject into somebody else.
Final images are typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on scope and the current production pipeline.

Why work with you?
An executive portrait is about how a person is read. My background across photography, communication strategy and editorial work informs both the image-making and the judgement behind how the photographs need to function.
Can we choose the location?
Yes. Sessions can take place in a studio, on location, or in a setting where you feel most at ease.
The environment is chosen to support clarity and presence rather than distraction.
How should we prepare or pose?
You do not need to prepare poses. Sessions are guided, with direction adapted to each person and to the intended use of the photographs.
Do you retouch the images?
Processing is deliberate and restrained. Adjustments focus on light, tone, colour and cohesion.
I do not alter features or apply heavy retouching that misrepresents what is true.
